April Message

“One day at a time”

Last month, when I was in the ICU at the hospital, with my son Peter, I started having a panic attack thinking about the future. Doctors had just told me that my son could have brain damage or organ damage, etc.  I was worried about Peter, my family, my work. It was getting to be too much for me. I then meditated and prayed because that was all that I could do. A gentle message came to me.

The message was, “one day at a time”.

I immediately was flooded with peace. I truly believe that the message was from the Holy Spirit.  An, honestly, that message was so true. I stopped focusing on the future and instead, put myself in the present moment.  Each day, I continued that path.  The amazing thing was Peter got better. He ended up not having brain damage or organ damage. He does still have one more tumor surgery to go, but I now know, I don’t have to worry about that.  He will be in good hands.

I want to thank each of you for your prayers and support for me and the Academy of Natural Therapy. Those prayers really helped and made all of the difference.
