After a student has applied to the Academy of Natural Therapy, they may also fill out a Scholarship Application. Scholarships are pending acceptance to the Academy of Natural Therapy, and are designated by the Academy committee after the review of the completed application and student transcripts.

Ken Morgareidge Scholarship
BCMT offers six $500 scholarships per year to fourth quarter students who have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher and demonstrated exemplary professionalism and service to the community.
American Specialty Health Scholarship
ASH is proud to offer two scholarships per year of $1000 to recognize academic excellence and enthusiasm towards students enrolled in massage therapy programs. Students must have at least 100 hours of academic credit prior to submitting an application. [ more information ]
Ben Cummings Allied Health Scholarship
Five student entries will be selected to receive a $1000 scholarship award, and all entries will be eligible for display on our "Great Ideas!" website. The application provides more information about the 2006 scholarship photo contest and application process. Winning contest entries will be chosen for creativity, technical quality, originality, and how well the written description explains the concept as taught in the anatomy & physiology or microbiology course. Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE)
ANTSHE award three $500 scholarships a year to nontraditional students who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program at time of scholarship award for 6 credit hours. Students must have completed at least 15 credit hours with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. [ more information ]
Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
A program of the Talbots Charitable Foundation, will award $100,000 in scholarships to women who earned their high school diploma or GED 10 years ago or longer. Five women will each be awarded $10,000 scholarships, and 50 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships. All applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. [ more information ]
College in Colorado Scholarship
The College In Colorado Scholarship is being offered to Colorado's 8th and 9th grade students who commit to completing pre-collegiate coursework and maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship encourages students to begin planning for college early and provides financial support for high-need students who are academically prepared for higher education.
Students who meet all of the College In Colorado Scholarship requirements will qualify for up to $1,500 per year to help fill the gap in college financing at a Colorado college. To be eligible, a student must be a legal Colorado resident and apply during 8th or 9th grade. [ more information ]
Colorado Business and Professional Women’s Foundation (CBPWEF)
If you are a women, 25 years of age and older, enrolled in an accredited Colorado college or university, dedicated to your studies and forging a path that will make life better for yourself, your children and your community, CBPWEF wants to hear from you. BIOTONE Professional Massage & Spa Therapy Products & COMTA funded Scholarships
BIOTONE Professional Massage & Spa Therapy Products and the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA) today announced their partnership in a new Edu-Scholarship Fund. The program will provide BIOTONE-funded scholarships once a year to selected COMTA accredited schools. The scholarships then will be awarded to promising massage students who have achieved educational excellence at the mid point in their training.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Marines in their pursuit of higher education. One-year scholarships (ranging from $500 -$10,000) are awarded annually and are limited to undergraduate studies at accredited educational and/or technical institutions. The deadline for application submissions for the 2007-2008 academic year is March 1, 2007 for high school seniors and April 16, 2007 for all other students. [ more information ]

- Visit your high school counselor or college resource center to research any local or school-specific scholarships.
- Check out scholarship reference books in a library or bookstore; make sure you locate the most current edition.
- If you attend or are thinking of attending a specific college, visit that school's website or call their admission's office to determine if they offer any scholarships.
- Be community-minded: does your church, bank, or other civic organization offer scholarships?
Beware of scholarship scams
Scholarships are "free money," so you should never have to pay money to get them. Watch out for scholarship scams or companies that require a credit card number just to perform a search.
