ENG-220, English Composition

This class focuses on written composition styles including analytical, evaluative, and persuasive/argumentative. A minimum of 5 compositions will be written in these styles. This course emphasizes the planning, writing, and revising of compositions including the development of critical and logical thinking skills, techniques, and creation. Essay and article writing, and research presentations with an emphasis on massage oriented material will also enhance the student’s writing ability as it relates to professional literature. Educating companies and groups on stress and the benefits of massage education is a popular way to introduce clients and businesses to our profession.

40 Clock Hours / 3 Qtr. Credit Hours

Prerequsite: Completion of 500 hour Massage Therapy Program or Instructor approval
