Course Descriptions MED-240, Medical Massage Medical Massage is therapeutic bodywork delivered in a medical setting, under the direction of a doctor or other health care providers. Medical Massage has advanced training in massage techniques, pathology and contraindications, medical communication and documentation, insurance billing, professional ethics, and legal issues. Medical Massage is rapidly becoming more recognized and desired by health care professionals. 40 Clock Hours / 3 Qtr. Credit Hours Prerequsite: Completion of 500 hour Massage Therapy Program or Instructor approval |
